Gothic Stories (AO5/6)
My students love these lessons! We learn the techniques used by the greatest Gothic writers - including Charles Dickens and Edgar Allan Poe. Then they produce a first draft of their own ghost story which is refined after receiving my feedback. They are always proud of their final draft. I can teach this course at any time - but it works particularly well around the Christmas period - the traditional time to read ghost stories.
